What is Double or Nothing in Grow a Garden 2?
Double or Nothing is the selling gamble that replaced the older bargaining feature (disabled in Update 1). Instead of taking a fixed price, you gamble the highlighted lot: win the flip and its value doubles, lose and the whole lot is gone. You can keep flipping to chase a bigger pot or cash out at any time.
What are the odds on Double or Nothing?
Each flip is treated as a 50/50 �?a coin toss between doubling and losing it all. Winning several in a row gets exponentially less likely: 2 wins is 1 in 4 (25%), 3 wins is 1 in 8 (12.5%), 4 wins is 1 in 16. The exact odds are the community-tested assumption and can shift with updates.
Is Double or Nothing worth it, or should I take the Daily Deal?
On average, no. Because each flip is a coin toss, the long-run return of Double or Nothing is just your lot value �?the same as selling normally and less than the guaranteed x2.2 Daily Deal. It only pays off if you win two or more flips in a row, so it is a high-variance gamble, not a reliable upgrade over the Daily Deal.
What happens if I bust on Double or Nothing?
You lose the entire wagered lot �?no sheckles and no items back. That is why it is best used on spare or duplicate crops rather than your only rare or high-value one.
Can I keep doubling forever?
You can keep flipping as long as you keep winning, and each win doubles the pot again. But the chance of surviving another flip halves every time, so most players cash out after one or two wins. There is no skill to it �?it is pure chance once you commit.
